My desire is to use my music to bring life, love, hope, and peace to everyone who hears me sing.
— Alleece Baker

Alleece Baker is a gifted musical artist and worship leader whose powerful singing voice has inspired secular, religious, and theatrical audiences for more than fifteen years. Alleece, a Chicago native, found her voice at the early age of thirteen when she began singing at her local church, Living Word Christian Center, led by Pastor Bill Winston.

While singing with Living Word’s Praise and Worship Team, Alleece soon began sharing the stage with such well-known recording artists as Joann Rosario, Paul Wilbur, David and Nicole Binion, William McDowell, and Walt Whitman & the Soul Children of Chicago, to name a few. To date, Alleece has recorded seven studio albums, either with other artists or solo.

As news of her singing talent spread throughout Chicagoland’s music community, others invited Alleece to perform at events outside of Living Word. Since 2006, Alleece has delighted and captivated event-goers at the Taste of Chicago, Chicago Gospel Fest, the Chicago Air and Water Show, USO of Illinois, Chicago Memorial Day Parade, and at several Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) games.

Alleece’s energy and excitement on stage are also seen in other areas of her life. As a passionate learner and high achiever, Alleece is a graduate of Ecclesia College in Springdale, Arkansas. She also holds two master’s degrees, one in business entertainment and the second in instructional design and technology, from Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.  Currently, she is studying acting and musical theatre at the Acting Studio Chicago.

As a minister and worship leader, Alleece desires to bring the sound of heaven to earth in every worship service. No matter the audience, religious or secular, Alleece’s heartfelt desire is to use her music to bring life, love, hope, and peace to everyone who hears her sing.
